  83.        You can use the software installation instructions in the
  84.        _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e to install this
  85.        product.  If you are installing this software for the first
  86.        time, the default subsystems are installed if you click the
  87.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l _A_u_t_o_m_a_t_i_c_a_l_l_y button.  To install a different set of
  88.        subsystems, click the _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button and make
  89.        your new selections.  Then click the _S_t_a_r_t button to launch
  90.        the installation.

  133.        2.3  _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n__M_e_t_h_o_d

  135.        All of the subsystems for Netscape Navigator can be
  136.        installed using IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot.

  138.        installation instructions.

  140.        2.4  _C_o_m_p_a_t_i_b_i_l_i_t_y

  142.        These images of Netscape Navigator are not compatable with
  143.        Netscape Communications Corp.'s images of Netscape
  144.        Navigator.  If you have previously installed Netscape
  145.        Communications' images, you should remove them before
  146.        installing these images.

  148.        2.5  _C_o_n_f_i_g_u_r_a_t_i_o_n__F_i_l_e_s
  149.  
  150.        Two files are installed that should be configured when
  151.        updating releases.  Both files reside in
  152.        /_u_s_r/_l_o_c_a_l/_l_i_b/_n_e_t_s_c_a_p_e and are called _m_a_i_l_c_a_p and
  153.        _m_i_m_e._t_y_p_e_s.  These files help configure the browser when
  154.        accessing multi-media objects over the network.  Currently
  155.        they are tuned to work with the tools that are shipped with
  156.        these images.  However, as you may install other media
  157.        players you may wish to configure them to access your new
  158.        players.  Both of these files can also be referenced in the
  159.        user's home directory.  This is configurable in the
  160.        browser's preferences options on a per user basis.

  162.        2.6  _O_t_h_e_r__I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n__I_n_f_o_r_m_a_t_i_o_n

  164.        Once the browser is installed, users may customize how it
  165.        interacts with the network.  These customizations are on the
  166.        "Preferences" menu item on the "Options" menu.  If your
  167.        system is behind a firewall, see your system's administrator
  168.        for information on how to get through the firewall.
